1. Lenovo ThinkPad E590
The Lenovo ThinkPad E590 is the successor to our former favorite ThinkPad E580. Lenovo again offers a successful all-round package, consolidating its position as our favorite among multimedia notebooks. Thanks to its powerful performance, the device is ideally suited to almost any application. Whether it’s simple office work, more complex creative tasks or the simple gaming fun – the Lenovo ThinkPad E590 masters everything. The notebook also convinces us with its IPS display and with a pleasant size of 15.6 inches. This makes it ideal for casual gamers as well as serial and movie fans. Thanks to energy-saving components, the performance remains at least the same and the battery life improves.
2. Dell Inspiron 15 7580
The best alternative to our favorite has also received an update, so we now recommend the Dell Inspiron 15 7580 instead of the Inspiron 15 7570. The new model continues to perform well, with Intel Core CPUs, dedicated Nvidia graphics and SSD and HDD in all aspects – but the noise from the loud fans is much larger than our favorites and the screen Do not represent colors very well.
3. Acer Swift 3
The Acer Swift 3 costs a little less than our favorite and relies on current hardware from AMD: The notebook is equipped with the Ryzen 7 2700U, which offers great performance not only in multitasking. For the graphics performance is a Radeon RX 540 responsible, which also copes with games. In direct comparison with our favorite, the battery life is a bit lower, in addition, the input devices are a bit spongy.
4. Asus Vivobook S15
With the Asus Vivobook S15, buyers not only get modern technology at a reasonable price, but also design requests are allowed here. Available in a variety of colors, the notebook features a current quad-core processor from Intel’s eighth core generation and a dedicated Nvidia graphics solution. For productive everyday life, there are enough power reserves available, even if they are a bit shorter than our favorite. In addition, the fans are quite loud and the device heats up noticeably during operation.
