Printronix introduces its hitherto smallest industrial printer: the T4000. The thermal printer with its compact design is particularly suitable for confined workstations, which nevertheless required the robustness and performance of an industrial printer, the company said.
The T4000 compact thermal printer from Printronix requires little storage space, easily prints up to 5,000 labels per day, delivering very high performance for a printer of this size. With its features, the industrial printer is suitable for cross-site use in harsh industrial environments.
Compact design, high productivity
With dimensions of 264 mm × 276 mm × 455 mm, the theme printer has a very compact design combined with high productivity, according to the supplier. With a foldable side cover on the metal housing, which can be opened to save space, printheads, label rolls and ribbons can be easily exchanged.
“The T4000 operates at a speed of up to 8 inches / s, can print on labels up to 0.28 mm thick and works with ribbons up to 450 m in length,” says Thomas Rosenhammer, Sales Manager DACH (South) at TSC Auto ID Technology EMEA GmbH
Constructed for production
The thermal printer is designed primarily for production environments such as the pharmaceutical, food and automotive industries. “For companies that want to increase their productivity within the logistics processes, the T4000 is a good choice because it increases the reliability. The robust construction and the reliability of the printer ensure smooth label printing and thus ensure greater efficiency in the company, “says Rosenhammer.
In addition to its compact design, the new thermal printer has a number of other advantages. This includes the 3.5 “LCD color display with a user-friendly control panel, which can be reliably controlled even in poorly lit work areas. With its metal housing and sturdy construction, the T4000 is well suited for use in harsh production environments with temperatures between 0 and 40 ° C, according to the manufacturer.
